Milkwood seedlings collected from a garden in Paradise
We collected a nursery of baby milkwoods from a garden in Paradise. The owner, Johan, takes a great interest in what we are doing and has notified us in the past of plants that have needed to be rescued.
Johan has a magnificent indigenous garden overlooking the lagoon for which he was able to use 40 loads of rocks from the new development opposite The Fountains. (I was green with envy, as we knew those rocks well, having wished that we could have obtained them when we rescued in that area – but the rocks have been put to excellent use.) Johan pops in at the Park regularly to see how things are going and we also have given him a few aloes in exchange.
