Plant Rescue			Plant Rehab
	There is alot happening with the "Plant rescue Centre" that is being established in the Supers Tubes Park. The entrance to it had to be cleared of invasive Jointed cactus. The Surf Masters School helped every Tuesday afternoon. Great to see all the enthusiasm from the youngsters and their help is priceless.			Alison's house and garage was used as the rehab centre until we got set up in the park. You'll see some pic's of rescue sites, potting in her garage or in the garden at her house. Alison's a lady with REAL passion for plants and has gone all out to make things happen.
	Operation Rocks			The Point
	A big thanks to Freddy van Rooyan from the municipality for helping us rescue the Aloe's that were removed from main beach. He and his crew helped us to replant them in the park and move all the rocks in place. Freddy is a man with a vision and is always helpful when needed. Freddy is also passionate about J Bay and does his bit with the sometimes limited resources.			An ambitious project in progress to restore the Upper Surfers Point area to its original condition and to mitigate the effects of many people using the area each day. Plants were rescued from "Siesta" house, now called the "Opstal" development.
	J Bay Fun Day			Big Surf
	The J Bay Fun Day held on Saturday 1 September was a great success. The weather was good, the surf was great and fun was had by everyone.			There were some epic waves in J Bay just after the Billabong Pro.
